Alogfire Time Tunnel Top Handle

The Alogfire Time Tunnel Top Handle is a glass-enclosed portable gas fire with a real, living flame, designed as a centrepiece for gardens, patios and outdoor living spaces. It runs on a butane gas canister (brand-stated), with the flame igniting from the log itself, and the brand states an output of 2.75kW / 9,400 BTU in a 36 × 20 × 39cm unit.

Alogfire describes the Time Tunnel as producing no smoke, embers or mess, positioning it for places where a traditional open fire is not practical. Treat that as the brand’s claim rather than a site rule: always check your venue or campsite’s own policy on gas fires before you travel.

For outdoor use only. Always read the supplied safety and operating instructions before first use, and follow them whenever the fire is used, moved or packed away.

Using your Time Tunnel safely

Use the Time Tunnel outdoors only and never inside a tent, awning, cabin, caravan or motorhome. Set it on a stable, suitable surface with clear space around it, keep children and pets at a safe distance, and let it cool fully before moving or packing it away. Never store a gas canister inside the fire or its carry bag.

Optional accessories

A fitted carry bag is made for the Time Tunnel and Lantern models, and Alogfire’s Titan Fan is a heat-powered twin fan designed to help circulate warmth from compatible fires. Accessories are sold separately; contact us to check compatibility and current availability.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the Time Tunnel inside a tent, awning or cabin?

No. The brand states the fire is for outdoor use only, and you should always read the supplied safety and operating instructions before use. That applies regardless of its shutoff and anti-tilt protections.

What fuel does it use?

The brand’s UK page describes the Time Tunnel as butane-canister powered. Check the supplied instructions for the correct canister type and size before first use.

How much heat does it produce?

The brand states 2.75kW / 9,400 BTU. It is designed to bring warmth and atmosphere to a garden, patio or outdoor seating area rather than to heat an enclosed space.

What is the difference between the Top Handle and Side Handle models?

Both share the same brand-stated size (36 × 20 × 39cm) and output (2.75kW / 9,400 BTU). The difference is the handle position; choose the one that suits your space and how you will carry it.

Is a gas fire like this allowed where open fires are banned?

Rules vary by site and venue. The brand says the fire produces no smoke or embers, but each location sets its own policy on gas appliances and naked flames, so check before you travel.
