Meet Alogfire: Portable Real-Flame Gas Fires for Camping, Caravanning & Gardens

Alogfire Time Tunnel portable gas fire with a live flame over its log, glowing at twilight in a garden with festoon lights.

World of Camping |

Some evenings outdoors call for more than a blanket. Alogfire is a family-owned outdoor heating brand with UK support, built around one simple idea: a portable gas fire with a real flame over a patented gas log, ready wherever your adventures take you. We now stock the first Alogfire models at World of Camping, and this guide introduces the brand and the range.

Why Alogfire?

Alogfire fires are compact, gas-powered and designed to travel. Instead of smoke, sparks and firewood, you get a clean, controllable real flame at the turn of a dial, whether you are pitched up in a caravan, camping, fishing or simply sitting out in the garden. Every model is for outdoor use only, and run times and outputs quoted below are brand-stated figures.

Available now at World of Camping

The camping-focused model in the range. Brand-stated weight is just 2.2kg, with a 1.5kW / 5,200 BTU output and compact dimensions of around 21 x 24 x 23cm, so it packs easily and sits happily on a camping table. See the Alogfire Mini Campfire.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use an Alogfire fire inside a tent, awning or caravan?

No. Every Alogfire fire is for outdoor use only, and must never be used in any enclosed or poorly ventilated space. Always read and follow the supplied safety and operating instructions before use.

Which Alogfire models can I buy at World of Camping?

Three models are in stock now: the Mini Campfire at £129.99 and the Time Tunnel in Side Handle and Top Handle versions at £189.99 each. The Horizon, Stage, Lantern and Centre Lux are coming soon; contact us to register your interest.

How much heat do Alogfire fires produce?

The Mini Campfire has a brand-stated output of approximately 1.5kW / 5,200 BTU. The Time Tunnel, Horizon and Lantern are brand-stated at 2.75kW / 9,400 BTU. These fires are designed to add warmth and atmosphere outdoors, not to heat an enclosed space.

What gas do Alogfire fires use?

The Time Tunnel runs on a butane gas canister (brand-stated), and the Mini Campfire is gas-canister powered. Each model has its own requirements, so always check the supplied instructions for the correct gas type and canister size before first use.

Do Alogfire fires produce smoke?

The brand says its fires produce no smoke or embers, which makes them an option worth asking about where open wood fires are impractical. Gas fires still count as naked flames, so always check your campsite or venue's own policy before you travel.

Are Alogfire fires easy to take touring?

The Mini Campfire is the most travel-friendly, at a brand-stated 2.2kg and around 21 x 24 x 23cm. The Time Tunnel is a larger centrepiece at around 36 x 20 x 39cm, better suited to the garden, patio or a seasonal pitch.
