Vango Kela Pro II Air Low Drive Away Awning

The Vango Kela Pro II Air Low is an inflatable drive-away awning for campervans with an attachment height of 180–210cm. Made with Dynamic Pro fabric with a 6,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating, it creates a separate living area for touring holidays, with quick AirBeam® pitching, a fully sewn-in groundsheet and a manual pump included. Leave your campsite set up while you explore, then return to a comfortable space for meals, relaxing and storing your holiday essentials.

More living space, without losing the freedom to drive away

The roll-away connecting tunnel lets you detach your campervan and leave the awning freestanding. Use a suitable drive-away kit for this setup, and mark your vehicle’s parking position to make reconnecting easier. Two tunnel doors provide convenient access to the front or rear of your vehicle, while an adjustment strap helps tidy excess tunnel fabric.

Inflatable AirBeam® structure for straightforward pitching

AirBeam® construction replaces traditional main poles with inflatable beams. The included manual pump has a pressure dial, and additional bracer beams reinforce the main structure. Pre-angled beams make good use of the internal space, while the TBS®II Tension Band System provides additional bracing when correctly tensioned. The listed pitching time is approximately eight minutes, with actual setup time depending on conditions and experience.

Dynamic Pro fabric and campsite comfort

Dynamic Pro fabric has a 6,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating. A fully sewn-in groundsheet and external storm skirt help keep out draughts, insects and ground moisture. Mesh doors and ventilation panels encourage airflow, while the included removable SkyLiner helps reduce condensation and adds a thermal barrier. Diamond Pro windows and roof-line skylights bring daylight inside, with zipped curtains for privacy when you settle down for the evening.

The awning is rain tested to EN ISO 5912. Pitch and secure it correctly, and avoid storms and extreme weather. It is designed for touring trips rather than long-term seasonal pitching.

Useful details for everyday campsite life

A cable entry point helps route your electrical cable neatly into the living area. The SkyTrack® II hanging system supports compatible lighting and storage accessories. For additional outdoor shelter, the king pole door can be raised as a canopy using additional king poles. A compatible clip-in double bedroom is available separately if you want to create a sleeping area.

Vango Kela Pro II Air Low: frequently asked questions

Will this awning fit my campervan?

This Low model is designed for attachment heights between 180cm and 210cm. Measure your vehicle’s attachment point and check the available connection length and attachment method before ordering. Vehicle model alone does not confirm compatibility.

Can I leave the awning standing when I drive away?

Yes. With a suitable drive-away kit, you can disconnect your vehicle and secure the roll-away tunnel, leaving the awning standing as your campsite base. Check which kit matches your vehicle connection before purchasing.

Does it come with a pump?

Yes, a manual AirBeam® pump with a pressure dial is included. An electric pump is available separately as an optional extra.

Does the Kela Pro II Air Low have a sewn-in groundsheet?

Yes. The fully sewn-in groundsheet and external storm skirt help reduce draughts and keep insects and ground moisture out of the living area.

Can I add a bedroom or use the door as a canopy?

A compatible clip-in double bedroom is available separately. The king pole door can also be raised as a canopy using additional king poles. These accessories are not included as standard.

Is it suitable for seasonal pitching?

No. This is a touring awning for holiday use, not long-term seasonal pitching. Prolonged UV exposure can accelerate fabric wear.
