Maxview Portable Magnetic TV Aerial
Portable TV reception for your next getaway
The Maxview Portable Magnetic TV Aerial is a compact, amplified aerial for terrestrial TV reception at home or while touring. With an omni-directional design, magnetic base and low-power operation, it is a practical choice for caravans, campervans, motorhomes and trucks.
Once you are parked up, position the aerial on a suitable steel surface, connect it to your compatible TV or receiver and supply power to the amplifier. It is easy to remove and pack away before your next journey, with no drilling or permanent mounting required.
Why choose this Maxview aerial?
- Magnetic mounting: the base attaches to suitable steel surfaces and features an anti-slip coating.
- Omni-directional reception: receives signals from all directions without needing to aim the aerial towards a transmitter.
- Integrated amplifier: a low-noise amplifier with 20dB gain helps boost received signals.
- Low power requirement: operates at 5V, 40mA, with power via USB 2.0 or a compatible aerial connection.
- Compact size: measures 66mm in diameter and 126mm high for convenient storage between trips.
- Two-year manufacturer's guarantee: included for added reassurance.
Reception and compatibility
Designed for wideband UHF terrestrial TV reception, including Freeview where coverage and a compatible tuner are available. Channel availability and picture quality depend on local broadcasts, your TV or receiver, terrain, nearby obstructions and aerial positioning. The aerial does not add HD or 4K capability to your television.
Although you do not need to aim the aerial, you may still need to reposition it for better reception. Retune your TV when moving to a new reception area. The magnetic base requires a suitable steel surface and will not attach magnetically to aluminium or fibreglass panels. Remove and store the aerial before driving.
