Vango Stellar Double Sleeping Bag – Black
A roomy 3-season, 9 tog double sleeping bag for couples, families and campervan trips. The Stellar Double gives you warm, reliable sleep from spring to autumn on UK campsites, at festivals and on touring holidays. It has a 4°C comfort rating, fits sleepers up to 190cm tall, and unzips fully to use as a quilt. The black colourway is great at hiding campsite grubbiness.
Why you'll love it
- Space to stretch out: a 148cm-wide square shape with the same width from chest to foot, so there's no cramped mummy-style feeling.
- Fits taller campers: 213cm internal length, suitable for people up to 190cm tall.
- Warm when it's damp: synthetic hollow-fibre fill keeps its warmth better than down in damp, humid British weather.
- Tough outer: Polair® outer fabric stands up to condensation and everyday campsite use.
- Twin zips: zip from either side, so getting in and out is easy for both sleepers.
- Doubles as a quilt: unzip it fully for a blanket in the tent, campervan or at home.

FAQs
How warm is the Vango Stellar Double?
It has a 4°C comfort rating, a -1°C limit and a -16°C extreme rating (extreme is a survival rating, not a comfortable sleeping temperature). Vango suggests using it at 9°C to 20°C, so it suits most UK camping from spring to autumn. On colder nights, add a liner or blanket. For winter, choose a 4-season bag.
How big is it, and will it fit two adults?
Yes. Inside it measures 213cm long and 148cm wide at both the chest and the foot, and it fits sleepers up to 190cm tall.
How heavy is it?
It weighs 3.85kg, which makes it best for car camping, campervans and festivals rather than backpacking.
Can I open it out flat?
Yes. The twin zips let you unzip it fully and use it as a quilt or blanket.
What is it filled with?
A 60% single-hole siliconised hollow fibre and 40% polyester fill. Synthetic fill keeps its warmth better than down when it's damp, which suits the condensation on UK campsites.
Are other colours available?
Yes. The Stellar Double also comes in Oasis and Harrisa.
