FAQ

What Vans Will the Mid Height Vango Drive Away awnings fit?

Compatible Campervans & Motorhomes (Connection Height 215 - 255 cm)

This Mid height awning is designed for vehicles with an awning channel (kador) height of approx. 215 to 255 cm, which typically includes larger campervans and smaller motorhomes, such as:

Common Compatible Vans

Peugeot Boxer (H2 / H3) - popular panel van platform with mid‑roof height

Ford Transit / Transit Custom (mid‑roof versions) - fits models above low roof but below high roof

Mercedes Sprinter (mid‑roof) - common touring conversion choice

Fiat Ducato (standard / mid‑roof) - widely used campervan base

Citroën Relay / Peugeot Boxer variants (mid roof) - similar to Ducato chassis

Mid‑height versions of Renault Master, Opel Movano and similar panel vans

These vehicles fall into the mid‑height range where the Cove III Air Mid can attach directly to the awning channel without needing extreme adjustments.

🧰 How to Check Your Van

To ensure a proper fit:
✔ Measure the awning channel height (kador height) on your van - it must be between 215 cm and 255 cm for this model to fit correctly.
✔ Look for an existing awning rail, gutter rail, J‑rail or wind‑out rail on the vehicle. If your van doesn't have a rail, you can still attach using supplied over‑vehicle straps or fixing kits.
✔ Compare the measured height with the awning's specification - if your campervan falls within the connection range, the awning will attach securely.

🧭 Summary

The Vango Cove III Air Mid suits mid‑height campervans and smaller motorhomes with attachment points at 215-255 cm - such as Ducato, Boxer, Sprinter, mid‑roof Transit and similar vehicles - making it a versatile choice for touring and extended camping trip

Can it be used for storage and living space?

Yes. The Faros III Low offers enough living and storage area for dining, cooking, or relaxing at the campsite.
