Vango Kela Groundsheet Protector GP005 – Awning Footprint

Extra protection beneath your Kela awning

The Vango Kela Groundsheet Protector GP005 adds a protective layer between the ground and your awning base. It helps reduce abrasion from small stones and debris, while keeping the underside cleaner for packing away.

Lay the protector out first to help plan your pitch before unpacking the awning. At the end of your stay, it provides a cleaner surface to work on as you pack up.

Key benefits

• Helps protect the awning base from abrasion and small tears caused by ground debris.
• Helps keep the underside cleaner, reducing campsite dirt carried home.
• Lets you mark out the intended pitching area before unpacking.
• Provides an additional layer beneath the awning; it is not an internal comfort carpet.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an awning or a groundsheet protector?

This product is the protective footprint used beneath an awning, not the awning itself.

Will it fit every Vango Kela?

A fit for every Kela version has not been confirmed. Match GP005 against the protector code recommended for your exact awning model and year.

Does it replace a carpet?

No. It is intended to help protect the underside of the awning rather than provide a soft internal floor covering.
