Outdoor Revolution Cayman DT Low Poled Drive-Away Awning 2026

The Outdoor Revolution Cayman DT Low 2026 is a poled campervan drive-away awning for attachment heights of 180–220cm. It uses new TENSILE ACTIVE ripstop all-weather eco performance fabric with a 4000mm hydrostatic head and includes a footprint, pegs and carry bag. Sleeping accessories and the twin fitting kit are sold separately. 

Its Dura-Tech fibreglass frame supports extra space for relaxing, dining or organising camping equipment on UK weekends away and touring holidays. This is the poled model, not an inflatable air awning.

Living space and access

The floor footprint is 300 × 300cm, with an additional 80cm cowl depth. Allow further room for guylines, the canopy and access when checking your campsite pitch. An integral, vehicle-front-facing eyebrow canopy is supported by a fibreglass pole.

Zip-back front and side doors have Phoenix mesh ventilation panels. PVC windows with toggle-in privacy blinds help you adjust light and privacy, while the fully sewn-in PE groundsheet has fold-down entrance upstands. Roof ventilation has a Velcro-down storm cover. Ventilation helps manage moisture but does not eliminate condensation.

Check your campervan’s fit before ordering

Measure from the ground to your intended connection point with your vehicle positioned as it would be on your pitch. Compare this with the 180–220cm attachment-height range. Also check your rail channel size, usable connection length and clearance around doors or fitted equipment.

The approximate 220cm awning height is a different measurement from the vehicle attachment-height range. Do not rely on a campervan model name alone to establish compatibility.

Twin 4mm and 6mm cowl connection piping provides options for compatible rails. Inner cowl tension straps and bungee adjustment help tailor the connection. Twin rear zip-back cowl access doors provide access between your vehicle and the awning.

Need a different height or prefer air?

Twin drive-away fitting kit

If your setup requires a removable rail connector, consider the Universal Twin Drive Away Fitting Kit, sold separately. It includes three figure-of-eight sections and a 3m kador strip with 4mm and 6mm beading.

Check the kit against both your vehicle rail and the awning connection. “Universal” does not mean it fits every setup. A fitting kit cannot change the attachment-height range. Follow the equipment instructions when disconnecting, closing and securing the awning before driving away.
