We ask that you carefully read these
Terms and Conditions before placing your order with World of
Camping .
We have a dedicated sales team to
answer any product or delivery queries or any question relating to
our Terms and conditions you may have prior to purchase. In addition
we have a Live-Chat facility on
our web site during office hours.
When finalizing your order you will be
asked to acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Terms and
Conditions.

Placing an Order and
Order Confirmation
Placing
an order is very straight forward. Changes can be made to the
contents of your basket at any stage by clicking ' view basket ' on
the right of the screen.
Once
you are happy with your selection you can proceed to the checkout and
finalise the order details.
Having
submitted the order you will then receive a confirmation of your
order by email. This email will detail the order placed and the
delivery option made. Please check that the details contained in this
email are correct. If you do find that there are any mistakes please
telephone or email us immediately.
In
completing the order process you will be asked to confirm that you
have read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
Your
contract with World of Camping begins on despatch of your order.
Prices and Payment
At
World of Camping we make every effort to ensure that prices and
products shown on the website are up to date and complete. The price charged for an item is the price
as listed at the time the order is placed. Inevitably there may be
some price fluctuations or a product may become unavailable. In this
event you will be notified promptly and offered the option to to
choose another item or to cancel the order. We do not take any money
for orders placed until the day of despatch of the order.
Delivery
At
World of Camping we are committed to offering the best service to our
customers. To this end we have a variety of shipping methods
available to offer the fastest and the most convenient service to our
customers.
We
have a very efficient despatch team and depending on the delivery
option made you can expect that, in most cases, the order will be
despatched from our warehouse within 24hrs of being placed.
Orders
placed before 1pm with the option chosen for a 24hr delivery will be
despatched that same day.
Our
delivery charges hold no nasty surprises and we make the options and
the charges clear from the outset.
Delivery
to the UK is charged per complete order regardless of how
many items are ordered. The cost of delivery is one low price.
Orders
despatched via UK Mail are tracked and will require a signature on
delivery.
Orders
despatched via Royal Mail Tracked are tracked but do not require a
signature on delivery
Orders
despatched via Royal Mail are on a first class service.
You
will be advised of the carrier via an email on the day of despatch of
your order. This email will give tracking details of the service used
and a delivery date.
Orders
to EU destinations are charged per packed box weight, maximum of
30kgs per box. Once the order has been placed you will be contacted
to confirm the order size and weight and the price of shipping. We
will confirm and agree the final order total with you before any
charges or delivery are made.
If
you miss our 1pm deadline for next day delivery but urgently need an
order , please call call our sales team on 01209 20 32 20 to place
the order. This is a discretionary service and may not be available
at peak times but we will always do our best to accommodate any
special requirements. This service will incur an extra £1.00 Last
Minute Charge on top of the normal delivery charge.

Please
note that even though it is rare for an order not to arrive in the
specified time, we advise that orders are placed in good time to
account for any delays that are beyond our control such as adverse
weather conditions, fire, flood, strike or any Act of God to avoid
disappointment.
Next
day delivery option is not available for the Highlands, Islands and
off shore UK deliveries. Postcodes in the category are
AB31-38,AB40-56,IV,KW, PA21-38.PA41-49,PA60-78, PH4-42,PH49-50,
PH42-44,ZE,BT,IM,and the Channel Islands. Please allow one extra day
to service chosen for these destinations.
Back Ordered Items
While
we make every effort to accurately reflect our stock levels on our
website, there are times between uploads of information were there
may be a delay in adjusting the figures. This could result in an item
ordered being out of stock. You could place an order for an item
listed on the website as out of stock. In either of these cases we
will contact you immediately to inform you of the expected re
stocking date and estimated delivery date to the customer. No funds
will be taken for any items held on back order. By keeping open an
order for a back ordered item means that you are first in the
allocation of new stock when available. We will keep you informed on
a regular basis as to the status of your order.
Incorrect, Unwanted or
Faulty items
Please

returning items that are unwanted, incorrect or faulty. Returns

any items returned, for whatever reason, will be dealt with in the
shortest possible time with the least inconvenience to the customer

Doing our bit for
recycling
At
World of Camping we do our best to recycle where possible. As a
result when packaging orders we will use cardboard boxes from stock
delivered to our warehouse where ever possible so don't be alarmed if
you receive items in boxes that do not match the items ordered.
Privacy Promise
We
are very sensitive to our customers privacy and adhere to guidelines
set out in the Data Protection Act 1998.. We will not pass email
information to a third party and will only supply telephone numbers
to a known and trusted supplier, with your prior agreement, for
instance in the case that this was needed for input of a more
technical nature than we could provide or to assist the couriers in
the delivery of an order..
Any
emails sent containing special offers or information will always
include a link to give you the option to remove your self from future
mailings.
At
any point you can contact World of Camping to request that you are
not contacted by email or telephone in the future.
Weee
The Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to
make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of
waste electrical equipment.
The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high
street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return
their waste equipment free of charge.
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each
year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. Much of
the UK's WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it
contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a
harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.
Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or
recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources
and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with
sending electrical goods to landfill.
Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a
part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill
sites.
World of Camping is obliged under these regulations to offer our
customers a take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when
they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us, though there will be a courier collection charge for this service. For example,
if a customer bought a new adaptor from us we would accept their old
adaptor prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it
safely.
Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of
purchasing their new item. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new
electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled
bin symbol. Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were
produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately
from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
Returns Policy
While
we are confident that the products we retail are of the highest
quality from reputable suppliers and we are certain that you will be
satisfied with your purchase , there are occasions when items will
need to be returned to us. At World of Camping we try to make this
process as easy as possible. If you have any questions do not

All items returned for any reason must be accompanied by a completed
Returns Form
- If
you are unable to print this form then please include a covering
letter with order details, full contact details and information as to
why the item is being returned to us. Please include your order
number on any correspondence.

Items must be securely packaged for the journey back to us. Items
insufficiently packaged may become damaged in transit and we reserve
the right to refuse to accept delivery of such items. If delivery is
accepted any damage incurred by insufficient packaging may affect the
level of refund for such items.

We recommend that you use a signed for or tracked service to return
items as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in
transit.
- Customers
are responsible for the cost of return postage. For defective items,
this is refundable on confirmation that the fault is manufacturing in
nature or failure of component parts of the item In the event that we
have sent the incorrect item to you we would ask that you contact us
to arrange an exchange . This is Free
of any charge. If you do return any items yourself please note that
we will only refund the return postage to a maximum of £6.00 with a
proof of postage paid receipt.
- Please
check all items on delivery to ensure that the correct item has been
delivered, that the item is not damaged and that all component parts
are included. Incorrect items, incomplete items or transit damaged
items must be reported to World of Camping at your earliest
opportunity, with in 24hrs.of the delivery.
Unwanted items
You
have the right to cancel an order at any point up to 7 days from
delivery of the item ( s ) in accordance with the Distance Selling
Regulations by any communication means.
All
items must be in as new and unused condition with the packaging
undamaged.
Items
must be securely packaged for the journey back to us. See 2) above
World
of camping will not be responsible for the cost of returning unwanted
items. See 4) above
Once
the item is received it will be checked through our returns
department. Every effort is made to make this a speedy process and we
would normally anticipate that this will be 14 days from the date the
items arrives back with World of Camping. However at the height of
the season this may take a little longer. A refund will be issued via
the same means as initial payment either by Paypal, credit/debit card
or cheque. You will be notified by email on the day the refund is
processed.
Incorrect items
While
we take every effort to ensure that orders are picked and packed
correctly errors can occur
In
the event that this does happen we will collect the incorrect item
from you and replace it with the correct one at the earliest time
available.
Please
contact us as soon as possible , preferably with in 24 hour of
receipt of the item , to inform us of the error. See 5) above
If
the item is small we may ask that you return this via our FreePost
system. Details of this can be obtained by contacting our sales team.
Faulty or Damaged
Items
If
you have received damaged or faulty items please inform us within 28
days of delivery.
Our
customer service team will ask that , if possible , you send
photographs of the fault or damage via email especially for tents so
that we can then proceed with a collection request.
World
of Camping will then organise a collection from a requested address
on a suitable date. This is not a timed collection service although
we will do our best to accommodate customers specific requirements.
An
initial charge is made for the collection, if using our courier
service, but this is refunded immediately the fault is confirmed to
be of a manufacturing origin or failure of component parts of the
item. You are welcome to return items for inspection via any method

Once
back the item will be checked through by our returns team. For
certain items such as tents the item may be passed to an independent
and approved third party for in depth testing and examination.
Items
will not be accepted back for inspection if returned unclean and, in
the case of tents, not dry. Items delivered in this way may be
returned to the customer for cleaning.
Items
that have been damaged by misuse or negligence will not be exchanged,
refunded or credited.
Items
with damage that is not covered under warranty will not be
exchanged, refunded or credited
In
the event that no fault with the items is found then the initial
collection charge will not be refunded and a charge may be made for
returning the item to the customer.
A
replacement item will be sent on confirmation of the fault with the
item If a replacement is not required then a notice of credit or a
refund will be issued as appropriate.
Damaged in Transit
If
your order arrives with visible damage please
sign as damaged or refuse the delivery.
Please
notify us with in 24hrs of the attempted or actual delivery.
Photographs would be much appreciated in this instance,of the
packaging and/ or the damaged item emailed to
sales@worldofcamping.co.uk
Our
customer service team will then make arrangements for the exchange of
the item or to re send the order to you as soon as possible. There
will be no additional charges to the customer in this event.
Misrepresentation of
items on the website
As a
long established and well respected on line retail company we make
every effort to accurately display our stock with a photograph and
clear specification details.
With
so many items listed it is possible that an error may occur. If you
become aware that there is a possible error please notify us as soon
as possible and we will investigate the problem and make any
adjustments as necessary immediately or remove the listing from our
site.
Once
we are aware of any errors we will review the information and deal
with this as promptly as possible, as if an incorrect item had been
sent.
We
apologize if we do inadvertently make an error in the information
listed and for any inconvenience that it may cause to our customers.
We certainly prefer that this does not occur and will do our best to
see that everything is correct
