- A well made functional portable Fridge. Review by Neil
I bought one of these a year ago to go camping in South of France. Received fridge in good order from courier took it out of the packing and plugged it in. Worked perfectly then tried it in car again worked well so then tried it off a gas cylinder, top marks so far. Ok time for holiday turned on fridge on mains two days ahead. packed with milk bacon eggs ham bread fruit butter etc. one day ahead. Left to catch midnight boat to Calais around 6 pm arrived at ferry around 11pm and was loaded straight on. Unplugged fridge so as not to run battery down around 2 hours later replugged in and started driving towards Med. (Checked coldness before starting off felt ice cold) around 8 pm local time still hundred K from Montpellier so pulled in to french municipal camping, motorhome site, set up tent made third brew of day fridge behaving what ever I plugged it into. Bought some wine now the fridge is doing what it was meant to do day later drove down to coast stayed there for week then carried on to Barcelona for five days returned to med for three more days then drove back to England The fridge did everything I wanted with no noise or problem. In fact over christmas I needed extra cooling space because of visitors. Alcoholic drinks, milk and the fridge gave me that extra space so what a good buy it has been and should there be power cuts this will be called into action because of its three way fuel ability though if on gas it will be outside under a draught free awning. Use for barbecues in summer its talents are endless.
